SOLD!

Thanks for catering to my request!
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=louvered+hood

That is EXACTLY what I pictured in my head and EXACTLY what I've been wanting. Looks great!

Count me in for a full fiberglass bolt-on version. If you don't end up doing fiberglass, I don't care because I'll buy one anyway.

Oh, and I am interested in a drip-tray. It's not a must but would be very, very appreciated (I'll have to make my own if not). My car has seen and will continue to see torrential downpours and I prefer to keep the underhood drenching to a minimum.
An idea you might consider is making a separate piece that bolts on to the hood rather than molding it in, that way people who don't want one can get it without (and save money) and those of us who do can buy it separately. I imagine that it wouldn't be hard to make provisions on the underside of all of the hoods to bolt it on, if nothing more than a few tasteful thick fiberglass (or CF) bumps to screw into, or even nicer... inserts.

Either way, keep us up to date on the availability of the bolt-on versions! I can't wait!

I'm in on the GB depending on prices of each hood type and how many members sign up for each on.

Grats on the SCCA approval. I think what people really want is a ZL1 replica hood with extractor, for their ZL1 front end conversions. Is there a reason why people aren't that interested in the Suncoast Creations ZL1 style hood? Both hoods do not have a drip tray and the LG has a lot more louvers than a ZL1 does.

Would rally stripes look right on a hood with the vents on top?

For me, the center/louver section sits up to high. The LG Motorsports hood looks like it isn't higher than the center section of our OE hoods. That's why I'm in love with either of the Nickey Stinger hoods, the intake piece isn't sticking up 4"+.

Interested in a Fiberglass version but CF would be OK if the price is right....Will definitely stop by the booth to check it out.

Don't listen to the guys who want to through a ZL1 badge on their V6. If they want a ZL1 front, then they can get one from GM, or they just should have bought the whole car.

I respect you guys for making an original ( and tasteful ) hood design and giving us a quality option to make our cars stand out.
