Two, they are the largest volume dealers of Vette's currently and were the largest volume dealer of Camaro's when they were last manufactured, so they have some respect/weight in the queue of dealers. Three, and this wasn't known at the time I ordered but counts now, they are not on the list of dealers targeted for closure.

I hope this helps.. and, welcome to the forums! Be sure to join the Camaro5 D/FW Group, once your ready to engage with us locals!
And they also accept GMS pricing without any hassle at all!!!

welcome
when i began to look for a dealer i learned very quickly that the locals around the panhandle of Texas were not going to play fair at all. I asked around and Camaro Scotty sent me to eric hall in grapevine. at that time he was out of allocations so eric sent me to sugarland and so far i have had a great experience classic seems to be a first class outfit IMO

Go with Classic. Toby is my dealer but all there are great from what I hear. This is my first Chevy since my '88 Camaro and now I hope to buy my next car from Toby. Haven't had a dealer like that from VW, Ford or Honda.

Definately go to classic (in grapevine). Customer service is top notch, no mark ups on their vehicles, accept any discounts that you are eligable for, and they are great about keeping you informed about whats going on. and im pretty sure they have been the number 1 dealership for like the last 3 years.

I highly reccomend Alex Rivera if you decided to go in, i have purchased a truck and the camaro from him, and he has been excellent.

Did i mention go to classic?!?!

This is relative to the Rep you get, as I've felt all along that I've been giving my Rep more attention *and* information than he's given me. Nice enough guy and all that, but a little less proactive and a little more reactive than I would want my Rep to be. Then again, he knows I am buying and he's got other cars to try and sell.

I just ran by Classic (in Grapevine) and they told me my car in on a box car sitting in Louisiana. Maybe it will get a move on and show up in Texas soon.

Are you not able to call whatever 800 number for GM I hear about every now and again? I've seen several people say they got good results after calling GM directly, but I have no idea what the number is, who answers, or what stage of the process your car must be in before they would help. But you'd think if it's built in QC they'd have an idea :(

You can call that number or the DBC three times on the same day and get three different answers... hard to know what to believe or trust anything you hear in a situation like that.
