Making your tranny last

Well, there are those of use running stock trannys in boosted engines. I'm currently running everything, tvs2300 at 8-9lbs, cam, bolt ons, water meth. I'm thinking I'm probably nicking 600rwhp as I am detuned right now. I know my tuner is the best (ted) and was just wondering if you other guys running stock trannies have been driving your cars certain ways?

I have been abusing the hell out of mine! I'm tap shifting most of time but I have not been downshifting aggressively a lot and I am trying to not shift while accelerating. Will any of this prolong my tranny life or should I just say f it and drive it like I stole it and just buy a new transmission when the thing goes boom?

Just drive it and dont sweat it! U got a great tuner! A cooler will help but at 600rwhp just have fun and enjoy it while it does last !

Ive seen them installed on Supercharged camaros but i think this one goes exactly where everyone mounts their intercoolers as you say but i think theres enough space to set it on a side of that one, how big is it do you have picts?
