Fbodfather my rant on the camaro is...
It is too comfortable to sit in too good of a mix of classic design with an updated twist too good of a deal when considering all aspects of performance Too exciting to be able to walk in and buy what i only dreamed about back in the day. Which means i had to order one. On a side note I have been buying new Gm since 1980, my trade to the camaro was my 2009 silverado and when i traded it in with over 40000 miles it was tight and just like new except for some coffee stains and tire wear. |

We were told my 2013 2LT would be built a week later than originally specified!
Why? Apparently the whole Canadian Camaro plant goes on vacation for a week? REALLY? Did we just get handed a line of STUPID???

I have never quite understood the whole "paint sucks" claim. I've owned over 50 vehicles in my lifetime, and every one of them gets about the same frequency and type of paint chippage... although, I tend to see deeper chips in the faster cars (!).
My sun visor covers up 60% of my field of vision through the windshield... any more than that, and they'd become hazardous. On course, the car IS too heavy, too light, too wide, too small, too loud, too quiet, too expensive, too everybody- can- afford- one, to loose, too tight, too floaty, too harsh, too basic, too many bells and whistles, too 'bout everything. |

Every GM facility goes on shut down for a week or more during the summer. Not only do employees get some R&R, a lot of times there are people running inventory checks and performing maintenance on the plants during those times.

Wish GM made fog lights for the 2012 LS model. Tired of looking at the plastic inserts and don't want to install aftermarket as I prefer going oem.

i have owned 5 sequential chevrolet cars, the camaro has the worst looking paint (chip wise) than any of them, including my 99 S10 with 100k miles on it, some off road!

The Fbodfather told me at Camaro fest that the sun visors in these cars cost 3 times the price of the corporate sun visors that they use in most of their cars. I suspect that the cost has more to do with volume than size. If you consider the financial position that GM was in during the development of the Camaro, I'd say that if they used a sun visor that cost 3 times as much, there was a darn good reason for it!

They are tiny, have no lights, don't have the sliding insert my other cars have had for that dead spot by the mirror, and I don't even think they slide farther back when they are flipped to the side like the ones in other cars. So what makes them so special they warrant a 3x price tag? Again, curious not trolling. |

I'd much rather have small visors than a frontal lobotomy if I'm in a wreck.... no complaints.
