Smile $10 Dollar Headlight Mod

Picked up some surprisingly decent quality of tint from Autozone and made templates of the turn signal lenses. Cut out the pieces and put them on. Very pleased with the outcome. I know some companies offer these pre cut, but after shipping it was pushing 29 bucks. DIY always feel rewarding!

looks damn good! Also make sure not to put harsh chemicals on the tint or it will turn purple.

You could have just switched the bulbs to leds. It would be brighter and get rid of the yellow/orange look. Looks good btw.

I had LED switchbacks, but once I put in RS lights, when the white LED's were lit it was to much going on with halos and fogs. I put the amber bulbs back in, and clipped the pin so the DRL portion would not come on.

This tint had more of a rubber texture to it, and went on very easy. I misted some water on it, and squeegeed it out.

The left pin you see the arrow pointing to. I just kinda pried it out from the back and snipped it off so there is no connection.

I have a 2SS with the RS package factory.

The only thing that comes on with DRL, is the DRL lights.. as far as I know.

Is this different on the non RS package?

It works different, mine is originally non RS, and when I would turn my fogs on, the turn bulbs DRL portion would come on as well.
