Mod suggestions
Alright so this is my first post here. Been looking on this site for awhile and hoping to get some input. I'm wanting to do some modifications to my car. Have a cyber grey 10 2lt/rs. Trying to get ideas for a body kit and also performance upgrades, mainly an exhaust system. Love to hear your ideas. Also anyone know a good shop in the Portland, OR area? Thanks!

Since someone is BOUND to say it, I may as well do it.
Drop your car! It makes it look a lot more aggressive! As far as ground effects (GFX) (body kit sounds too ricey), some people say Razzi, others say the GM GFX, etc. Do a quick search about each and you should see some nice pictures. We have a member marketplace where you can buy some of the stuff used from other members at a discounted price. Vendors also have their own part on the forum where they have deals on the products they sell. As far as exhaust, ARK N-ll and ARK DT-S are some of the better sounding cat-backs (starting from the catalytic converters) out there. For axle-backs (basically muffler and tip), people prefer the MRT series (v1 or v2). Since you have the LLT engine (2010-2011 V6 Camaro), you should look in the V6 LLT section for advice on nearly anything you can think of. If forced induction is your cup of tea, we have a special place for that as well. Oh and welcome to Camaro5! I'm sure you'll love it here. Sir Nuke should be posting something about welcoming you in if he hasn't already done so in the time it takes me to write this. If you need any help, don't hesitate to PM me.

Joe (sir nuke) is sleeping. Very well written and informative post jmontalvo.
For the open, body kits are very subjective to your taste. There are plenty of companies out there with ground effects pieces so I would browse the cosmetic section for hoods splitter, spoilers, and gfx. Would suggest lowering your car and putting a set of wheels on it for the most visually impacting mods you can do. |

I just started with mods myself and have an 11 cyber grey 2lt/rs. Just added MRT v1.0 axle back exhaust and WOW what a difference. Sounds amazing, I highly recommend.
Next mods for me are Rx catch can, injen long tube CAI, footwell lighting, dome/trunk lighting change to LED's. Definitely go for the Rx catch can though! Quote:

So after looking around a bit, I'm leaning toward the Havoc chin spoiler and rockers. Any opinions on quality of those?
Also, I saw a thread where someone had made a custom diffuser and for the life of me cannot find it again. He was making and selling them. They were smooth and painted. Think his name was Eric??? |

Did you install the exhaust yourself or have it installed? Where did you purchase it from? Was thinking about getting the V2.0
