So that's it for you - not more dream on the Camaro? Going GT500 now for sure? Hard to blame you, since you're able to get it and know you're getting it, I just can't let go of the Camaro though. I have too much documentation and pictorial history of the car already to let her go to someone else.

Please tell me you're at least looking at the 2010, not an '09 or '08!

I'd be looking at it too if I didn't mind spending $16,000 more for what shops are already getting off of a cam + basic bolt-ons (guessing about $2-$3,000 in parts). Or blowing away with -only- a blower (no idea on what they'll cost for the Camaro, but if it's like the vette's I'd guess $7k).

I know that's from the factory with warranty, but I'll be happy with 426 for a few years. & IMHO the Camaro looks a lot better in person.

I spoke with Hank the sales manager today, my new rep Eric Watson was out sick. The GM help number is 800-222-1020, but like Number 9 stated, you can get different answers depending on who you get on the line.

I haven't signed anything yet but since I don't have any information on my car, I need to get in something ASAP .. I guess I could look at weekly rentals of something, but that could get expensive ..

Oh Crowley....you've waited so long....sure you want to give up now? What if you regret it when you see Camaros on the road.....Do you have another car to drive for now or are you without transportation?

It definately is frustrating, not knowing anything at all. I don't know how much longer my rusty old buick regal can make it......i've been driving around in this Tx heat with no air conditioner.

No friends or family with 2 cars in the garage & a driver in the driveway you could convince to let you use one for a while? Offer to pay them for insurance for the month, and an oil change and (if you're a trustworthy guy & driver) they may be willing to help out knowing that at very least you'll owe them several good rides, or maybe even offer to let them take your car out a night or two (after it's broken in of course) to return the favor

Hi, first post here, but I've been lurking for months. I ordered from Toby at Classic Grapevine on 27March; black 1SS, 6M. Originally number 95 at Classic; hopefully moved up a little by now, but I think I'm still at 1100. Looking forward to talking to other 2010 owners in DFW area.
