For me it was between a 2013 Camaro or a 67-69 Camaro. I ended up with a new Camaro because I can just get in it and go, no worries. Plus I can easily put a car seat in the back. Well maybe not that easy, but it will hook up to the latch system.

I purchase the genesis over the 350 and 370 because of the back seats and I could have gotten the infinite g37 but I feel in love with the Hyundai but I still love my SS more

Nope. I was going to go with a 2011 mitsubishi lancer Evo, test drove one and everything. I opted for looks over speed and went with the camaro. The evo was amazing, but I fell head over heels in love with the camaro.

I went in looking to upgrade my truck to something newer.... Ended up keeping my truck for winters and buying my camaro and I couldn't be happier with my choice.

Camaro interest started this most recent search. I test drove or just looked at (in no particular order): CTS coupe, Acura TSX, Lexus IS250, Infiniti G37x, Mustang 5.0, and V6 Premium. I also briefly entertained/did some online-looking at a 1965 Mustang (base model), a 1967 (I think) AMC Javelin, a 1996 Z3 vert, Lincoln MKZ, and BMW 328xi and 335xi.
I was either looking for a toy or an entry level luxury replacement for one of our AWD work horses. Toy won.

I actually wanted a Jeep Wrangler. I love that car. But I also really love the Camaro, and I was able to get it, so I did. Best decision ever.

I had a 91 3000gt I was building. But got tired of it and was bored out of town one day and test drove a srt8 challenger and a ss l99 camaro (only had auto on lot) originally I liked the challenger better for looks and less of them on the road up here. But after the test drive I was like damn! Screw the challenger I want a camaro!! Never intended on having one until I drove it then had to have one do now I got my 2011 2ssrs m6

Nope, this is the car I wanted. I told myself that when production stopped in August of 2002 that I'd buy a new Camaro when it finally came out. I skipped the first model year and waited until the time was right, and that was in late 2010

I wish pontiac was still around. I would have bought a TransAm over the Camaro. Same car I know, but have always liked the TA's.

I was at the auto show at McCormick Place. Sat in the Mustang, I'd have to pull the seat out to fit in it. My knees literally hit the dash and I can't work the pedals. Never fit right in the fox bodies either, I would have to drive them barefoot. Challenger? Interior reminded me of my buddies Neon, plus I wasn't going to pay 50K+ for a mopar..on principle. Camaro? It was just right, bought the one brand new one they brought off the lot for me to test drive. Phillips Chevrolet in Frankfort, IL. Props. I own that very 1SS today.
