I'll have a 304 Stainless Steel prototype using EXISTING holes under car for mounting and using the OEM bracket in a day or two for those who can hold tight...

Looks like around $30 as a ballpark figure; but it will be stainless steel so you do get what you pay for in this case...

Everyone should note the windshield is NOT legal. Front plates must be clearly mounted on the front of the car. The windshield being legal is a popular misconception.

That doesn't surprise me. Do you even need a driver's license down there?

So you have the car and you're on here?

Dude, I was driving around at 2 in the morning (like NOW) the first few days.

Enjoy.

I have pulled up multiple court cases for Texas where that is not true. The wording stated of the law states "front" with no other words to define where in the front allowing the plate to be displayed in the front windshield. Although I am sure people can NOT get lucky all the time with this though. I know I wouldnt!

If having your plate in the front windshield was illegal in Texas every other car in Port Arthur would be getting pulled over. Every other truck/corvette/muscle car/ricer/wanna be show car has it in their windshield. It should vary state to state as others are stating. I'm going with the double sided tape. My dealer actually did it to their display Camaro knowing whoever buys it will take it off.

Maybe I don't get it, but I live in a front plate state, have no intention of moving any time soon and prefer not to attract any more LEO attention than the Camaro does already. I put my front plate bracket and plate on the car. Call me crazy...

I was also thinking. A screw in adapter could be made that would mount the plate into the passenger foglight hole. Probably not a good idea just food for thought.

That's where the plates where the first year non steel bumper.
