Is your GPS taking you over the Queenston/Lewiston bridge. most do. That is the worst bridge to cross because everyone using a GPS crosses there. Whenever I come home from Watkins Glen I cross over at the Peace Bridge, it's a little further to drive (4 miles) but you avoid the very long lines at the Q/L bridge.

Here is a number to call when you get close to the end of the NY state thruway, it will give you all the wait times.

From my experience having lived in Buffalo I've had much faster times going over the Lewiston Bridge. But it's not up to me, see you guys soon!

Rochester Car Show

OK - I know it's in the middle (or should I say “beginning”) of the BBOMG event, but last month I threw out a feeler for cars in the Rochester area about helping me support a small event on Joseph Ave. in downtown Rochester next Saturday (August 18th). My friend owns a drug store there and is trying to revitalize moral in the neighborhood. He loves the 5th Gen Camaro and is asking if we could have some cars there from any time after 10:00 AM through about 2:00 PM. A couple of you responded favorably but I need to get a list together. I know it is short notice but the help is much appreciated. Please respond via the forum or PM me. Maybe afterwards we can do lunch some place unique?

It's raining in Milwaukee if anyone cares. Guess I should've gone to BBOMG now. And why would anyone cross at either bridge? The Rainbow bridge was never busy or a line. Unless things have changed.

I agree but it's more complicated to get to the Rainbow so that's why I recommended the Peace Bridge, everytime I go over for gas/groceries I use my Nexus card at the Whirlpool.

All the bridges are a roll of the dice! By far best results are the Peace bridge! I've been over the Lewiston bridge many times and I've seen wait times up to 2 hours or as little as 10 minutes! Weekends are worse, especially coming back into the states!

Have fun everyone and be safe!

Based on my results with my new CAI, I'd recommend one of those first. I know mine is V6 and you have a V8, but it makes a huge difference in the sound. I would expect the difference to be even more with the higher displacement V8. Now I understand why so many people have them.
