Thanks to all that made the meeting last night. I'll try to get some notes out this weekend. With all the activity (see posts above) it may be a day or two. Please feel free to join in on one of the events Saturday or Sunday. If you're trying to decide on an aftermarket exhaust, or any other mod, you'll probably be able to see it (and hear it) live at Udall Park at Noon. Even if you can't go up the mountain, it's a great opportunity to pick each others brains on the care and feeding of our cars. Consider it our own miniature Camaro5fest III.V!!!

I did not get our banner today, sorry, I should have it Monday. If anyone would like name tags you can pay me tomorrow $12.50, or PM me and we can figure something out. We should have our shirts tomorrow, thanks to Stephen (COSMOZL1).

From Bob (Bodih)
This Saturday morning is Cars & Coffee at La Encontada, corner of Campbell & Skyline. Very informal car show including everything from exotics to ricers to rat rods. Folks normally start to show around 7AM, and hang around until 10AM.
I plan to stop by about 8AM, then go to brunch at Cafe Jasper around 10AM before meeting up with the Mt Lemmon group at Udall Park at Noon.

The AZ All Gen folks that will spend the night in Tucson have made arrangements for dinner after the mountain cruise at Sir Veza's at Speedway & Swan. PM RobertGss on here or the AZALLGEN site if you plan to attend.

The rest of the folks heading back to Phoenix will peel off at the bottom of the mountain and head down Houghton to Hot Rods Old Vail for dinner, then jump on I-10 from there. I asked them to add a few cars and seats to the reservation if some folks would like to tag along. More info on the AZ All Gen site.

Sunday morning, the folks that spent the night in town plan a small cruise around the East side on Old Spanish Trail and end up at Hot Rods Old Vail for lunch. They will depart the Viscount Suites on Broadway about 9AM and meet for lunch around 11AM. More info to come. If you're interested in joining them, let me know.

So there's no excuse why you can't get a full fix of "Camaromania" this weekend! Feel free to jump into any part of the events this weekend. Put some miles on the car and join the fun!

Add my Dad in for tomorrow's cruise up the mountain. He's going to ride with me.

Hi everyone! Can't wait to see all of our Tucson friends! Soo looking forward to this 79+ cars! See you at noon look for me in the ashen gray ZL1. I'll be flying our AZAG flag!

You may notice some of the cars have "29 Remembered" painted on our back window. It's to show our support for Ralph Leal who lost his battle with cancer. Ralph club coin was number 29 and Mt Lemmon was the last event he was able to drive.
Here is a story about the 29 coin.

Can anyone recommend a shop to pull a dent out of my hood in Oro Valley or Tucson ? Had a box fall on it and dimpled the hood.
Thanks

Mount Lemmon run was fun in the rain. Bummed I didn't get to talk to much of our crew. Once it started raining we ran for the restaurant.
But we did get to see David in there hiding from the rain as well.

I was happy to see quite a few of the 3rd and 4th gen cars there. Makes me miss my 99 SS.

Here's a few pics and the orange with white stripes is my friend Sandy's.

Wish I could have made it on Saturday, looks like there was a great turnout. Unfortunately Saturday morning we woke up to find half of our apartment flooded from a busted pipe that was under the slab. We currently have everything shoved into our living room and master bedroom of our apartment. Only good news is that because of this we are going to start packing since our new house should be done around the end of October. Can't wait to get together with all of you sometime.

Just got off the phone with Troy. He sounds amazingly good for only being 5 weeks removed from having his chest cracked open. Doctor told hime his recovery looks more like months, not 5 weeks. Anyhow, we are going to meet for breakfast this coming Saturday at Jerry Bob's on the northeast corner of Lambert Lane and La Canada at 8 AM. Everyone is welcome, just send me a PM so I know how many are coming. And YES, he is driving. First time in 6 weeks.
