Just installed some stuff in my NON-RS headlights (kinda pic heavy)

First of all, I'd like to thank lscamaro, austinjames, Dtrimpi87, Jonathan@AACstyle.com, SSinister 2010, and TCAT for their support.

Well after seeing Dtrimpi87's headlight setup, I knew I wanted to go that route.

I got the HID+projector kit from theretrofitsource.com and the halos from AAC. I got the Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1) with the GTi-R shrouds, H13 relay, and 5000K bulbs from TRS and the non-RS headlight halos+fog light halos from AAC. Total came out to around $700.

Since I'm a total noob with the wiring, I had someone else do this for me. I'm just going to post the pics in order.

Some a**hole left a water bottle here at one of the car shows I went to. WTF?! :fac epalm: I have no idea what the yellowish liquid is.

Total time was around 9 hours. Most of it was figuring out how to run the wires/mounting the projector. We put the the control box right under the radio/in front of the shifter.

I'll add more pics later on when it gets darker.

Good job on the retrofit. Wait till night time that's when the retrofit shines it's true colors. You will no longer worry about not being able to see. It's like having th sun in the front of your car lol. Like yourself I also did a retrofit. I also see that your using the colorshift halos. I'm Definately leaning into buying those and ditching the one color halos. One question tho, why do the big halos look like they are too low?

Thanks! I can't take all the credit though. I helped someone install them for me. Oh and I sure hope they're bright. I've heard of stories where the HIDs are worse than the halogens.

The halos were just a little big. My guess is to make sure there are points where the halo will glue onto the housing. I think the RS halos will be more visible since it can rest on the shroud. Get what I mean?

They're not glued to the lens. They're glued to the points where it meets the edges of the chrome housing.

Wtf?!?!?! Why do they add the adhesive on the back then?!

I experimented with it on the lens but the halo would come out at an angle with respect to the smaller halo. It really wouldn't look all that great.

I have no idea why the adhesive is even there. I don't use it. I have my own epoxy I use to secure the halos.

Mine are flashtech. They are glued to the scatter shield because they are more circular than oval opposed to AAC. And I know what you mean about the projector not being centered. Mine look like they are but up close the projectors are not completely centered in the middle of the halos. Now This is how you are suppose to install the AAC halos http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=198952

I dont think the outer halos are meant to be centered on the scatter shield. If you lift them up higher more of the halo will show instead of it being half hidden. Heres mine with more of the halo showing.
