Just swapped in a built 408 with a f1x procharger. was giving a buddy a ride in the fresh build when the injector o ring on cylinder 2 blew out spraying e85. Minor damage was done, had the car back in action in less than a hour. good thing i had a gallon of water in the back seat. bought a fire extinguisher the next day!
the poor quality of the Holley efi intake mounting holes for the Holley rails was to blame for the o ring failure. I had to slot the rails to give a snug fit on the injectors. it was only on the pass side that was not right. slotted both side to be safe.
This was a second gear start, first gear is useless!

my buddy was still shaking an hour after. One ride he will never forget! haha.
After I got it running again took me a little while to get back in the throttle..

If it would have burned more wires on the engine harness I would of made a claim. since it did scorch a lot of stuff. fuse box, fire wall, cowl, engine harness looms, abs connector got it a little, injectors. I could prob make some money on the claim since I will just replace the wire looms myself and leave the rest for some added character. but just totaled my RZR a few months ago so will just pay it out of pocket..
