How do you disconnect front O2 sensors?

Trying to disconnect front O2 sensors, but can't see enough of the plug to figure out how to get it apart!

I've read the following:

On the backside of each cylinder head, facing the firewall, there is a wiring harness plug for the front pre-catalytic O2 sensors. These plugs are attached to the head by a slide-on plastic tab. Simply slide them downwards and disconnect the plugs, which disconnects the O2 sensors.

However, nothing seems to want to slide downward.. What are they talking about??

Please help! Thanks.

There is a plastic pin you have to pull out first then you can push the button to release the connector. The pin I'm speaking of is a green lanyard looking thing. They can be hard to get out. Hope this helps you out.

Ah, okay, I know exactly what you're referring to. Do you have any suggestions on removing the green tab?

I saw that sort of, using a mirror, but it was difficult to see and I wasn't entirely sure that's what it was.

That pin was by far the hardest thing to remove when I put my cats on. I reached up from under the car. I couldn't get my hands in there from above. Good luck!

Jason ordered long tube headers for his car, should arrive this week sometime, so he's wanting to get a head start and remove what's on his car now.

You want to come over and help? I'll save a spot for ya!

I think it is the same type as what is on the coil pack connector harness. You can see how it works there.

Do you need to have your car warm to pull them off?
