I really hope the June 15th shipping date holds true. Even my saleman is selling me the same information. He said their regional Rep. said the QC cars are suppose to start shipping on Tuesday (June 2) and all be out of QC by June 15th.

Not that anyone should be surprised at this (me especially) but I still don't have my car . According to 1 person (here at Camaro5), it has clear QC and is waiting to be shipped. My DEALER told me that NO CARS are being shipped, and those that are have all been recalled (and not because of battery cable either). And GM CSR's? They may as well claim space aliens stole my car.

I offcially give up on all of this. I'm going tomorrow to get my money back.

Dude good grief they just started making them. There are only 13k of them made with a big chunk of them going to rentals. Go buy a challenger or mustang and every time u see a camaro u be saying f$%k why didnt i just wait. Ask anyone its worth the wait even if its 6 more months. Your letting your emotions get the better of you.

I think your dealer doesn't know what he's talking about. That said, I know how you feel, trust me. I have that same thought fairly regularly now a days... but, thankfully, I always come back to knowing I'd always have that "what if" feeling (but worse) whenever I saw a nice one on the road... that and the personal dream of having the Camaro that I've always wanted are what bring me back to waiting as patiently as I can.

I am working on 40 days of delivery at this point (nearly 9 full months since I ordered) and I'll keep waiting even as the apathy and frustration build.... with the thought that finally getting the car will make it all worth while.

The pre-order period doesn't count. Day 1 is SOP (3/16/09).

I would say that the amount of time that GM draws intrest on my deposit is the amount of time I have been waiting on my car

I wasn't counting the pre-order time.. that'd be a much larger number than 41. No, day one for me is when my car was complete, not when manufacturing started for the whole line. So, I am counting from 4/23 when my was completed and ready to be delivered. Looks like 42 might be the magic number, since it didn't come today.

HERE I ORDERED MY CAR ON 10/16/08 HOPING TO BE ONE OF THE FIRST OWNERS OF THE HOT NEW CAMARO. MY CAR WAS BUILT ON 4/24/09 VIN#4583 AND SENT TO AREA 51 FOR QC ON 4/25/09 AND STILL I WAIT.

I HATE TO SEE VIN NUMBERS 765,4906,7899,7731,8876 ALREADY ON EBAY FOR SALE BY THE NEW OWNERS FOR ALOT MORE THAN MSRP. I JUST DOESNT SEEM RIGHT THAT HERE I WAIT LIKE SO MANY OTHERS WHO ORDERED EARLY WAITING FOR OUR CARS TO ARRIVE AND OTHERS ORDERED LATE GET THE CARS AND THEN JUST PUT THEM ON EBAY LOOKING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK!

Same boat. Ordered 10/15 and my car was built week of March 23rd and still waiting. On the bright side I was finally able to get my window sticker to come up on the chevrolet web site. Hey, it's something!

I'm hoping to hear some good news soon or I don't know what I'll do. I guess just keep waiting.

VERY VERY frustrated!

Ordered mine Oct 16th
I remember the dealership congratulating me ....saying 1st car, introducing me to the owner....saying 1st car
then ....your car will be in May 6th????
an orange one shows up
then ....your car will come in May 26th???
a red one shows up
NOW it's ??? whenever??? It's sitting in the GM yard yellow VIN 12155

VERY VERY frustrating!

I ordered mine on 13th October and still waiting. But there is hope, GM called me and said it was shipped out on 25th May. I should get it in 3-5 days. Im positive that there will be good news for you by Mid June. I think you will have your car by then.
