I have used the Walmart products and I do use the Adams products and for me there is no comparison. The wax, car soap and detail spray, waterless car wash are great.

I'm sure the Adams products are nice. I just kind of want to keep my car protected with wax, and looking nice. It doesn't have to be perfect.

I went to Walmart today and got about $100 worth of auto cleaning and detailing products. I think I'll be happy with them.

I'm still expecting my car about mid Sept, to 1st of Oct. I'll try to post pics, and a video of my car, when I get it. And I'll be getting new wheels for it at Discount Tire. I don't much care for the steel wheels that come with the LS models. I think GM screwed up on that. Even my salesman doesn't like the steel wheels.

Maybe one day I'll get a vette. I like camaros, and I'll enjoy mine, but I really want a vette. The one I want is a 2LT with auto trans, which goes for about MSRP of 54k. (ouch)

The MSRP on this new car I'm getting is 25,595. That includes the compact spare tire. None of the 4 dealerships offered me any discount off the MSRP on this ordered car. I'll be getting about 2k for the 99 cougar I'm trading in. I'm satisfied with the deal. I gave all 4 dealerships a chance to offer me a discount, but none of them would. That's fine, whatever. I'm looking forward to the car. The photo below is what my car will look like.

Best I could get was a 13.07 did improve my 60' to 1.95 but still working on that.

that is not a bad time at all.... If you can get that 60 down to a 1.85 you will be in the 12's

The DA and elevation in El Paso makes the numbers look horrible on paper, but in reality that is impressive.

Ya it was a little cooler last weekend da was a little better got a 12.96 but still need to get the 60' down.

I think that is a great time. I dont see very many N/A 5th gens here in ABQ so I don't have a lot to go by, but the ones I have seen where high 13's.

Welcome to the forum. Could you post a couple of pics of your SS? How do you like your SS? Where are you from, and have you checked out "friendly" Juarez yet?

There is a race track in Clint, that some of the members go to. Clint is just east of El Paso, off of I-10. The members here sometimes have meet and greets at various places around El Paso, and Las Cruces.

Some of the guys here are pretty knowledgeable about modifications to camaros. I'm not much into "mods" myself, but some of the guys here are. They are also knowledgeable about detailing their camaros.

Whose up for a Camaro Run/Rally from Las Cruces to Silver City and back? We could leave Las Cruces at 10/11am and take I-25 North to hit Caballo and then go to Silver City for an awesome sit down luncheon. After that we would come back down to Deming and hit Las Cruces for some drinks at either High Desert, The Las Cruces Taproom, De La Vegas or The Game. The roundtrip drive itself will run 5 hours, add an additional 2 hours more lunch at Silver City and it will be around 250 miles. The last time that this was done was probably about 2 years ago with Michael, Robert, Richard, John and Eric, but since then nothing of such. I figured this would be a great time to do it, it won't be too hot and the drive I hear is amazing to do especially with the curved turns and such. What say you folks, you down?!

I would be in for it just have to run it by the wife and see if she would like to go. I went across the Gila a couple of months back when I-10 was shut down due to wind and dust, was great fun hitting the turns up there took me about 2.5 hours from lordsburg to silver then to I-25 back into cruces.
