Hey all, anybody in the bay area looking to get rid of their ECF? Mine came with the Ashen Grey insert, only thing i'm missing is the Carbon Fiber Insert and I do not want to spend 3,000 on GMpartsdirect. Anybody looking to trade or sell theirs? I can have mine professionally painted black or any color.

-PS. If anyone knows when they will be more widely available through GM, please let me know. Apologies if this thread has been posted.

Have the insert painted to have the look of carbon fiber. I see it a lot now. I believe it is a technique called hydro painting?

I was thinking that but I would think it would chip easily and look like too much of a knock-off. Hoping 1 pops up for a good deal or someone is looking to trade.
