My 2010 temperature door broke and it would never get very cold because it let in hot air from the heater. You may haveh a similar problem that the door is not completely closing. After that was fixed it was very cold after it got all the accumulated hot air out of the ductwork. My 2012 is cold also.

Make sure you pull and replace the cabin air filter under the hood once a year or 12000 miles.

The actual temperature is great. It cool fast and gets VERY cold. The fan speed however is not so great. If I use A/C its so cold that I just run the fan speed on 1. However if I want to run outside air I have to turn it up nearly all the way to get any sort of real airflow.

In short, the fans are crap.

Do you get plenty of airflow in AC mode? If so it is probably a diverter door or door motor not allowing the direct outside air path to fully open to allow enough air to get through. If you have restricted airflow in AC mode too does it increase in recirculation mode? You may also have a stopped up cabin air filter.

It is the "heat of summer", literally. If you think it isn't cool enough, turn it off and feel the difference.

Lastly, try the A/C first thing in the morning or late at night when things cool down. If the cooling isn't to your likes, then two things:

1. You gots ice in your veins.

2. Your A/C aint a chilling...............dealer/warranty time.

Good luck.

I will give it 2 out of 5 stars. When I don't think it has finally broken all together, it barely keeps up with being cool (not cold.) Then usually I'm pulling into a gas station shortly later for more fuel.
