Blacktop Nationals - 8/24-26/12 - Wichita, KS

Coming up the weekend of August 24-26 it is time for the Blacktop Nationals again in downtown Wichita. This 3 day car show is full of great cars, events, and vendors. Yes, the event is sponsored by Ford and there is a lot of that blue oval around, however Camaro made it's name known when we won 5 of the 6 possible trophies last year (6th one was a 73 caddy), including a sweep of the 95-present class. Pre-registration goes through August 17th, so you still have a little bit of time. You will still have to pick up your packet at the show, but it does save time.

Some of the events this year include a NASCAR simulator, autocross, million dollar car display, electric car demo rides, Ford's ride & drive event, poker run, & a street party with live bands.

Heartland Camaros are once again entering as a club this year. Last year we had 15 cars entered, and we are hoping for more this year. Listed below are the times & places we will be meeting as a group before the show this year. If you are interested in joining us this year, feel free to drop in on us.

We will be meeting at the Wichita Ice Center at 505 West Maple Street Wichita, KS 67213. Friday we will meet at 11:30am for the noon registration open, Saturday meet at 7:30am, and Sunday meet at 7:30am.
