Already taking Sept 22 off for the show
Past month or so was hectic. Ran into issues doing my suspension and then went up to Boston for over a week. Just got the car done last night. Needs a detail and a alignment.

Hey guys...
Has been quiet lately... With anything over time there's going to be a turn-over rate through general attrician. It's a shame to lose people, but it's inevitible. To re-cap: Ivan has already sold his Camaro, sacraficed for the greater good of his family. Can't argue with that. Doug is in the process of selling his... personally I think he never recovered from losing to a vert at PBIR last summer, but he'll say between work and coaching multiple sports for his kids, there's just no time George has been in hiatus since C5 fest... not sure what's happening there We all know Jim/Deloris traded the Camaro for a (gulp) Mustang, but they still partake in events Mike P is waiting to unveil his car with the Florida "classic" license plate, only a few more years at this rate, lol! and while there are several others that haven't been out in awhile; there's still a place for them amongst TCC5! What I've noticed, is although the forum seems quiet, the meets are generating 2-4 new cars/members each time. And while many may not appear here on C5, they're appearing in person. Quite honestly, the "newness" of the cars have worn off... they're becoming more common on the roads and not drawing as much attention. This it the time where you'll find the true "hard core" Camaro owners, versus those who just bought a pretty new car cuz it was new. I agree whole heartedly with Tony (aka "Bumble-Bi) that we need to incorporate more themed events, and I thought the Go-Karts would be fun... I think Doug priced the WPB track at $50 for 3 races... It's a bit pricey, but it could be made into a good event, Caravan from PSL down, hit the track, early dinner and ride back. Get enough participation and whatever resteraunt we decided on would turn into it's own car show... Anyone with ideas and thoughts for meets/events, etc... please throw them out there! C5 and the Facebook Page are open to post, and I'm happy to post any events on the web site... Change is good. Duffy's will stay (at least for the time being) as it seems to generate new members each month... the consistency works. Although I can see it getting redundant for those of us attending regularily... we'll see what the future holds. Working with "Custom Ink" online for a dry-wick style t-shirt. We've had a lot of new requests for shirts. Anyway... it's always good to see and hear from everyone. Looking forward to Duffy's Anniversary Show/meet next month on the FOURTH SATURDAY (lil change this time) Sept 22... we also have Roma's Pizza this Saturday, Gweed's every Tuesday and 5 Guys in Palm Bay every Thursday (I think...Dion/Darrin???) The folks up in that area are pushing Space Coast Camaro 5 again, so it looks like we may have a new group to the North... Chris H hasn't been around much and we'll probably see even less of him, Dion and Darrin now, but they're always welcome, and being only 90 minutes apart, we can probably get some good joint-meets in the future!

Unfortunately, the TCC5 meets have been landing on the weekends we have the kids and bringing two cars is just not fun that far since I can't fit any of them in the trunk of the Camaro, so that is why we haven't been down in a while...but hopefully when SCC5 gets off the ground, we'll be able to get together more in the future (us Illinois guys gotta stick together...there are too many New Yorkers down here ...lol).

I check the forums daily but just don't have much to say.
I enjoy the company when we hang out where ever we end up. With Kyle coming along shortly, I anticipate missing the next meeting cuz I don't want to leave Shei alone. We literally will be a week or 2 away and anything can happen. Good news is there will be a new member into the club. Though he can't drive (for at least 16 more years), rest assure he is coming along w/me. Kevin, need baby boy shirt made!
