Rinsing, Washing, and Detailing in Oklahoma City
How often do you rinse off, wash, and detail your Camaro? And where do you get this done at? I'd love to do it myself, but I'm in college and I don't have anywhere to do these things myself.
Edit: Or if you know a great place that I can give it a thorough cleaning myself, that would be great. Last edited by camarokc; 08-15-2012 at 10:48 PM. Reason: Added a question |

Weekly, at home in my driveway. However as college student you could purchase your own supplies and take them to self serve wash bays and use those facilities until you're home.
Don't use the brush though,,, just the wand to water down and rinse. Many guys here on the forum will load up their favorite wash bucket (you can buy buckets with lids) with their favorite soap and detail supplies and use them in the wash bays. There are a number of threads here in the detail section that discusses this method. It can be done, it just take some pre planning and commitment. The key is developing your own technique and sticking to what works for you. You can also pay a local detailer, but it's kind of a crap shoot until you find someone you're comfortable with taking care of your. I think though that once you see how easy it is, you'll do it yourself. It is an enjoyable part of owning a nice car and there is a certain pride of ownership knowing you're able to keep it looking nice. Like anything, it just takes a little work. Let us know where you need help
