New SS owner!

I am a new SS owner! Name's Jeremy. I just bought a 2011 all black 2SS/RS. Got it used to save. I was going to buy a new V6, but decided if I am going to pay the price of a new V6, I can just get a used SS for that. I'm completely happy with it. It has caused a few jealousy problems at work, but where I work, I'm the only one who drives a car anyway. Everyone is more interested in dumping 70,000 into a denali dually truck and talking crap about "Man, you must be rich," when I pull up in this car which costs less than half of that.

Anyway, enough rambling. I included a picture of the car I sold for the SS as well. It was a 2008 SRT4 caliber. Not very many people knew they existed. Four cylinder, turbo, clamped, full bolt on, running 18lbs. Put down 360-370hp. Problem I had was it was front wheel drive!!! So, needless to say it was down right dangerous to just drive in the rain. I've always wanted an SS since I saw a white 2000 SS when I got my first car, a 2000 V6. I am brother of Wicked 6, now showSStopper. We drive the same color SS camaros! Anyway, here they are. I liked the caliber, black mamba, but I like the SS a whole lot more. I'm thinking of naming it black dynamite! Oh, and yes...I'm a cop.

Thanks guys. It's already got a CAI, I think it is AGS performance....never heard of them. That's all that was done with it. It was GM certified, but they let me have this along with the stock airbox because they said "We're just gonna throw it in the dumpster anyway."

I'm going this weekend to get the exhaust done. Can't decide between glass packs or just do traditional flowmaster. I want the loudest possible exhaust I can get (no sound restrictions in this area on exhaust).

AND, I'll apologize ahead of time for the photos in a non photo section. Just saw that. This layout is different from my previous forum.

Nice car. When I got mine, a co-worker went out and spent 5 grand on new tires and rims for his (import) because he "didn't have the baddest car in our parking lot anymore" (his words, not mine).

You can place photos wherever you want bro

You might want to check out the Borla Atak exhaust. It will cost you more than a Flowmaster, but they sound amazing. I went with the S-type Borla because I was going for a loud, but subdued loud. I would recommend getting on youtube and meeting with other Camaro owners to hear which exhaust you like best.

Here's one to get you started!
