Well... if I can throw this out there... try to take more into account than which is "louder". The Borla system was actually "engineered" (quoted to stress my use of the word).

It's going to sound a lot different inside the cabin than it does outside. You might think inside the cabin it sounds weak, but you'll have people rolling up next to you to at the stop light after passing them while getting on it saying "that thing sounds bad ass!" with the Borla system. At least that's been my experience with it on my SS.

I guess my point is that it isn't necessarily about loud as much as "shaped sound".
