omg, i almost fell out of my chair lol.

i don't quite think OP understands the modular architecture seeing as he's comparing the 5.4 3v (obviously the pre-08's) to the 5.8 4v.

but he is right about one thing, if you don't keep up on regular maintainence like you should, those pre-08 heads will definitely give you some trouble. but if you take care of your vehicle (like i see 99.999% of ZL1 owners doing) even those pesky two-piece plugs won't give you problems.

It's funny how all the stuff you mentioned about not being in the Stang have nothing to do with performance....

... anyways... I agree that the ZL1 is a better car.

The problem is, half the "car guys" who post in these threads make such a stink about how important quarter mile times are that one wonders why they haven't ripped the steering wheel out of their car, since it's clearly unnecessary for their driving needs. It would also save weight.

it's a lot easier to live you life "a quarter mile at a time" than it is to live your life "32 apexes and three long straights of varying distances" at a time.

That's one way of looking at it. I like both.

Oh there are plenty of reasons to hate not only his post but him as a person.

1. He has a horrendous grasp of the English language. Of course this is American English so it's already off...

2. He embodies the amount of stupidity that has given Camaro5 a bad name across the car forums.

Those are only two, I invite people to add to this list.

It should also be noted that its not defending the ZL1 that makes this guy look like a boob, it's the childish way he argues. Yes I'm aware this is a car forum but that's no excuse for acting like neanderthals or for lack of education.
