You put 50% tint on your front windshield??
I think WI is a lot like MI, they have very strict tinting rules, because they don't get as much sun as Cali or Texas in my case. But yes... I agree, some tint should def be in the future of KTs car.

I believe tinting front windshields ANYWHERE is illegal. There's an AS-1 line on the top of the windshield which you are not supposed to put anything under. Nope...no tint on front windshield.

Yeah I had always heard that too TAG, Illegal to tint front windshield anywhere I've ever lived; and that's New York, Michigan, and Ohio.

CAn you get your windows tinted 50% in Texas, i thought it was only 20%?

oh, no... I am sorry... Maybe I was unclear... well i was unclear, haha

My only point was that Texas and other sunny states allow more tint than Michigan... I agree with tag... that no state allows tint on the windshield.

but I was just trying find out if the other poster actually had 50% on his windshield... that would be impossible to drive i think.

I had limo black on the rear and sides of a car I owned...even that made for difficult night driving....and when I got pulled over for speeding, it changed the situation to a felony style pull over....because they couldn't see inside the car...and they made it very clear to me they didn't like it.

On a positive note, this was before tazers got put into police service!

I personally know that Mustang guy, and I LMAO when I saw those. I will vouch that he is harmless

. He's really into all cars in general, but favors Mustangs.

He also puts on a very large car show (300+ cars) in Central Lake, Mi., this years event is June 12th.

When I called him about your pics (we laughed like crazy) and told him you lived in Fife Lake; He mentioned he would love to have you attend the car show. He would have your car parked right up front next to his. It'd be a hoot!!

Anyways, Congrats again on the new purchase, and thanks for the laugh today!! Oh yeah, check out Joel's website for the car show, and drop him a line. I think it would be very cool to have your car at the show. Hope it works that you can bring it. www.joelshooks.com

My 96 has had 5% on all the windows except the front for about 10 yrs and the front is 35% mirror tint, If you can get a note from an eye doctor saying your eyes are sensitive to sun, or a handycap sticker you are allowed to tint pretty much however you want. I got a buddy to get me a sticker because I ride him around some. It has got me out of tint tickets several times. Oh by the way, great pics Katie, Happy B-day , Dog looks really comfortable.

Illegal in TN no matter big of a strip. All that is legal is what comes from the factory. I dont typical write tint tickets for any window other than the front windshield (thats too much of a safety issue IMO).

Kyle- It gets even better. Joel and his wife think that Katie's pics are just great. (They really have a good sense of humor.) They would love to have Katie bring her car to the show (which is on June 13th, I forgot that the 12th is just for the Friday Night cruise.
