Well...I have to admit...I do like beat-up old trucks. They're like old dogs..they just get better with age.
But perhaps the first thing you should ask yourself is if you really want to race or not...or if you can afford it if something unfortunate happens while your proving your point to this young punk. You're young too so I say do the mature thing and ignore him. If you can do that, you've already won more than a street race. |

I like the fact that in his posts where he is talking shit to DataWave... he talks about how why didn't he get a V8, a V6 is pointless, then claims he has one......... when asked specifically if he has a 5th gen v6, he says "yes and soon to be gone and I also have another 6 cylinder motor but its as big as a v8"... then 3 or 4 comments later... "mines a 4th Gen 3.4 fire bird with a solid rear axle" oh man... i love this guy sheerly for the humor he's bringing to the evening.

He's going to beat you with an inline 6 and some current Gen. Silverado wheels? FYI: Do not argue with morons. They have a lot more experience at being a moron than you. You will always lose!

if you race him, give it about 1/8 throttle and make sure to get in front of him right away or you will get old rusty parts falling off of his truck and hitting your car!
be sure not to leave 3rd gear so it is somewhat fair lol. That truck could possibly look nice in all seriousness, if it were in the right hands. but its not a *GO-FAST* truck. made for cruising, not racing. i wouldn't waste the gas. i would just laugh in his face, because he doesn't know what he is talking about. I drive an LLT M6 and am confident about most cars that even attempt to race me. I have gotten beaten by some old hondas and such, but its rare. Amazing what people can do to their cars now! I've seen 700+hp 4 cyl. That's ridiculous! |
