I've been checking my VIN 2180 multiple times a day since Chevy changed their website. This morning, the window sticker is finally available again.

Wooo Hoooo! I finally got my window sticker to come up! Well, at least I think it's my window sticker since I've never really had the dealer give me a VIN. Anyway, it was nice to see it finally come up. That may not mean very much, but at least it's something. I have a feeling the day is getting nearer.

I was told my silver ice is on the way to Annapolis MD, and then to York, PA.

I can't wait!!
Mine is also in Annapolis waiting to go to PA. We'll probably be on the same truck. Dealer told me hopefully late this week.

hey UCF quick question... i received a VIN and my dealer said that my car is already in transit. I dont know everything about that data base, but if you skipped over my vin is that necessarily mean that there is somethign wrong with my car such as QC? or may the invoice not have just shown up yet?

Do not take your car not showing up on the chevy VIN site to mean anything. We don't know how the process works as to when a VIN is available on the site. As far as I can tell they show up sometime around invoice/shipping but we've had reports of cars being shipped and/or invoiced without the VIN showing up chevy.com. So who knows.... As everything else with the delivery process, it's really a big mystery. It really amazes me that something as complex as building a car and shipping it doesn't have a more accurate and controlled tracking system. One would have to think that somewhere inside GM this exists. They can't just be building cars, sticking a tag with the destination on it and hoping that somehow gets from the plant to the dealership. But that's really what seems like is happening.

My window sticker for #2180 showed up again this morning. My dealer received three invoices yesterday. One invoice is for my car. One invoice for their dealer V6 #1962 received a few weeks ago. One invoice is for a VIN not in the db for a customer ordered SIM V6 received and delivered to the customer yesterday.

I found out this morning that the DBC has been calling the dealer weekly with an update on my car since I requested they make the first call to them a few weeks ago. As of yesterday, the DBC said my car is in Dearborn, MI though I want to get clarification since I understood it to be in Pontiac.

UCF w00t - Have you done a complete scan since Monday or the current active range? Thanks!

Great! That looks cool.

Correct. I actually had to restart it, again, so we're still on 2SS manual :(
