Looks good and looks to be more solid than Vararam's unit. Still would like to see real numbers from the dyno rather than hp increase claims considering how much $$$ it is!

Not really new, been around for a few years for the car. Wonder if they Upgraded/changed something on it?
If you're in the market for a CAI search for the independent test of CAI's that Ted Jannetty did on here. Great results from some CAI's.

Like Ject said, this is not new....been out for a long time now. I have had one on my car for like 2 years now, but I have never had it dyno'd, so can't give you any real numbers. But I must say I am impressed with the quality and appearance. Looks great, and my "un-calibrated" butt-dyno says it works great!!!

Yeah, 30rwhp is probably not gonna happen. With a tune....yeah probably so, but that would be like 90% because of the tune. Either way, it is still a pretty good CAI...at least in my opinion.

Here, this should help....

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...ZNVI5aVE&hl=en

New Era is about 10.4hp peak & 9.2tq peak.
Keep in mind marketing usually bluffs about 50% of what they say will be gained. Jannetty did an awesome job testing all the CAI's he could to show the results.

Thus why Cold Air Inductions with a Scoop has sold like hot cakes because it yields the best results for your $$

How are "fuel trims" defined? Positive meaning gain in MPG or fuel efficiency? Comparing k&n and bbk. Looks like bbk has greater peak torque, but k-n greater HP.

go to advanced search, type fuel trims in the left box and Higgs boson in the right box.

The only prob with CAI is you need to spend extra money to get the best performance. The air scoop is not free.

There are a few others that do the same without the cost. Each person will have an opinion, but we are all with the same opinion on the 30HP. No way!

LOL! I have never seen that before. Nice find!
I think they must have sold a bunch of them to members of Camaro5.com!
