when my mom received the invoice through fax she saw that they added that protection and called robbins chevrolet in humble and they said its an optional package that munday made standard.

...but if nothing happens tomorrow with the camaro...as bad as i want it...i may get another type of car not chevrolet.

Well, sorry to hear that. I know how bad I want my car and I'm sure you're just the same. I can only hope that I don't have any issues when I go to pick up my car. Hopefully not because the dealer has been pretty straight forward.


I was shopping for a truck several years back and went to Munday before the moved right off I-45 and the salesman was a complete jerk!

I mean I never had anyone act the way he did. He actually got upset and threw a little tantrum. Well, as you can guess I never went back there again.

I guess its not fair to judge the whole dealership over one salesman, but that's the way it goes.

Guess this does not help you much. Look at the bright side. Get the other car and then maybe next year when there are Camaro's on the lots you can walk up and buy one for UNDER MSRP.

Honestly I'm paying OVER MSRP and that is a definite first for me. I just HAD to be one of the first to have one and here I am still waiting for mine.

Hope it turns out good for you. If not just get one next year. Then all the bugs will be worked out and the car will have more cool options etc.... Take it easy.

yeah...nothing has changed at munday because the salesman was a complete jerk even saying "i am normally always right".

Well I drove my SS Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday! I cant believe all the looks and stares this car is getting. I have had so many people stop me and ask about the car. Yesterday in Pasadena this guy stopped my in the Target parking lot and asked if he could take a couple of pictures of the car with his 2 kids standing by it. Those kids where so excited. It made me feel good. My wife doesnt understand all the fuss. She says it is just a Camaro not a Ferrari or some other exotic sports car. I tell you I would much rather have my SS over ANY exotic sports car! That is a fact Jack!!

I don't have my VIN infront of me but I was in the 8800's and ordered back in October. I was 5th in line at the dealership. My car shipped 5/13 and arrived 5/26. Hope this helps. And Norma was the one who informed me my car shipped. She prined out my workmbench for me when it shipped. Had no problems either with pickup. No suprises or dumb protective packages added on to final price. No dealer stickers and front plate was in the trunk and not on the car, just like I asked. Good luck with your delivery and the car is freaking awesone. It's been worth the wait.

I picked up my awesome 2SS, automatic, RJT w/ gray leather interior, polished aluminum wheels, with Artic White factory installed stripes yesterday. My dealer is Davis Chevrolet in Houston Texas and the deal went through at MSRP as they promised when I ordered the car back on October 15, 2008. My dealer honored my request to leave the car basically untouched from the rail delivery and short truck trip to the delaership. Since my car (SN 101832) sat in area 51 for over 60 days, it was quite a mess, but was still pleasing to my eyes the first time I looked her over. I have properly detailed both the inside and outside in anticipation of my Zaino kit arrival on Monday. I already prepared and painted the mufflers with a low gloss hi-temp black enamel and have improved the rear view. I have an appointment on Wednesday morning to have a Deluxe 3M clear-coat bra installed on my car. Grand total for the 3M full package is $695.00 with a lifetime warranty beyond the manufacturers 5 year offer. I hope all enjoy the photos and I even have a few with my 4 year old grandson who loves the car. I was totally delighted with my salesman, Larry Davis (no relationship to the owner). By the way, 42 years ago I ordered a 1968 396 4 speed combination RS/SS package from the factory for a price of $3560.00 so you can understand my excitement with my new 2010 "Muscle" car.

I picked up my car on June 3rd from Ron Craft in Baytown. ABM 2SS RS. I will be attending the Camaro Rally at the dealership this weekend. Pictures are posted on the official aqua Blue thread.
I would love to have a Baytown Houston area club if anyone knows of one.
