For me to get anywhere in the MPLS area I have to go through Rogers and down Hwy #94 so I'm sure it is me he has seen. There are quite a few 5th gens running around here, but in the last 18 months, since I bought mine, I have only seen one other Synergy Green Camaro. That one was not an SS and didn't have stripes. So I think at least for this area I have one of the rare ones. You would not believe the amount of attention my Camaro draws at car shows. Most people think I repainted it. They are surprised to hear it was a factory color.

Just need to share the good news. This last weekend I drove from Elk River, MN to the Road America races in Elkhart Lake WI. Total miles round trip was 837. On the way over on Friday I forgot to reset my average fuel economy so I was unable to get the mileage on that leg. On Sunday morning getting ready to head back I filled the tank, reset the average speed to zero and the average fuel economy to zero. The trip back was all highway at mostly 65, few spots down to 55, kept her in 6th gear most of the way (which means 1500 RPM at 65) and when I pulled into my garage the average speed readout was 57.9 and the average fuel economy was 26.7.
Gotta love having 426 HP at your beck and call and the luxury of 26 1/2 MPG on the highway. Owning this car just keeps getting better and better. My current odometer reading is 4072 so she is hardly broke in.

That was great mileage. I have 20K on my baby but have never been on a long road trip. I think it is time.

I was wondering the same thing. I check for new posts every few days. We should keep this thread alive.
Took my car on a six hour round trip to the MN / IA border for a family reunion last weekend. Only got 24 MPG this time due to slower speeds from road construction. I have owned this car for just under two years and still just love to take her out for a cruise.
I have had no issues with my car so far; I hope everyone of you has had good luck also.

Hey Bill Good hearing from you. I am going to change my plug wires to some of the Granatelli Motor Sport variety. Joey Granatelli has a shop about 25 miles from my house and easy access to stop by and chat with him. He does good work. He built my buddy's Gen 5 that now has 850 HP! Joey posted a Youtube video on plugwires and I was SHOCKED at how poor most aftermarket wires are. Anyone in high performance should view that video.

I took a drive with my wife up the coast and we got about 25 MPG. I think I have too much fun driving that I forget there are fuel and tire consequences for having TOO MUCH fun. LOL I know this thread was a very lively group. It would be nice if we could somehow all meet up for a real face to face meeting perhaps at Camfest IV next year!?!

I am getting ready to take a run up to Ventura area with Orange Krate to visit some relatives and have lunch with a cousin and one of my sisters. Orange Krate has about 12,500 miles now and I did have to have one warranty repair. It was a the coolant hose that runs from the drivers side of the engine to the oil pan. I didn't realize that there was a factory oil cooler line until I got under there and closely examined it. I also did the Royal Purple in the Trans and Rear Diff. WHAT A DIFFERENCE THAT MADE! I have done a few mods... new shift ball, chrome OEM wheels and Heritage Grille. Orange Krate is feeling good with the new mods.
