you noticed a difference even before having it tuned? That's pretty sweet. Do headers without a tune (assuming you reflash it back to OEM) void the drivetrain warrenty?

I am a week or so away from ARH LT + cats, killer tune, ADM race scoop, and pedders busshings.

Deposit made and I am just waiting to schedule.

Can't wait to hear and feel the scoop + LT's with my AT cat back

WOOOOOT!

Yes, I noticed right off the bat. I wasn't expecting it to be so responsive. I got my tune put in this morning and didn't notice too much difference, but I'm told I need to put 100 miles on the tune first as things settle in.

Get a ported throttle body and complete the trifecta.

Did you go with the 2.5 inch cats that hook up directly to your cat back and did you have it modified so its 3 inch the whole way?

The car has so much pull right out of the gate, previously it didn't really wake up until 3K RPM, now it's in serious beast mode. Just waiting on my tune tomorrow morning

I know there's a lot of debate about the OBX headers, but I went with them because of the good reviews and the affordability. The guys at my shop loved them and were very impressed. They sound amazing.
I got my eye on a set of LT OBX with HF cats...I might just go ahead and buy them tomorrow now that I read this post. Did you install them yourself? What is the debate about OBX?

The cats came with the headers and are 2.5 inch, they hooked right up to the Flowmaster catback system with no modification at all.

I didn't install them myself because I don't have a jack high enough to get my car off the ground. It took my shop 2.5 hours to do the job with a lift, at one point one of the guys had to get under on a creeper while they lowered the car on him so he could guide the headers from underneath and another guy above set them in place. A lot of guys on this board have installed them by themselves. I'm sure it would take several additional hours but the install looked pretty simple.

The OBX debate is more of a moral/ethical dilemma with the fact that they are made in China and that they are (maybe) knock-offs of Kooks headers. There are several threads on the issue with some heated debate.

I'm getting a set of these headers for sure I also have read of people liking these obx headers, for me the price is the main factor.

I paid $250. I thought that was pretty fair. So under $1K for the headers/cats and install.

Yup, great bang for the buck with these headers.
