Saturday, September 1st, 2012
We meet at the Pic Quick on University Ave. and I-25 in Las Cruces. Departure time will be at 11am from Las Cruces and we'll take I-25 North to hit Caballo and then go to Silver City for an awesome sit down luncheon. After that we would come back down to Deming and hit Las Cruces for some drinks at De La Vegas on Telshor Ave. The roundtrip drive itself will run 5 hours, add an additional 2 hours more for lunch at Silver City and it will be around 250 miles so be sure to have a full tank before we leave. The weather through the Gila area will be very nice as the temperature seems to have been dropping slightly. I was up in the Mimbres area camping 3 weeks ago and you have no idea how chilly it was at dusk so this is fantastic cruising weather. I didn't know if this would interest anyone here.
 A 2012 camaro ZL1 is in the line up.Okay, I think the ZL1 came in 6th place @12.1 seconds @ 117.4 MPH, for this 1/4 mile. (Hope my info is correct here.) I'm wondering if we have any El Paso members here who have bettered this time? Hooters Monthly All Gen Camaro Meet
 Thursday September 6th, 2012 7:00 PM 3530 Foothills Rd, Las Cruces, NM Hey folks, just wanted to remind and let everyone know that next week is the first week of the new month and you know what that means? No? Oh ...well let me remind ya. Every first Thursday of the month Hooters in Las Cruces is the monthly Camaro Meet. Andy, the manager of the Hooters, is an advid Camaro fan whom also owns a 45th Anniversary, wants to bring out the Camaro community in Las Cruces and have a show of sorts at his location. He has made arrangements to have everything on the menu 10% off for this, minus the alcohol. So come and bring out your Camaro, whether it's a 5th Gen, 1st Gen, 3rd Gen, 4th Gen, or even 2nd Gen, bring em out. Plus if you know of anybody that has an older Camaro, let them know and have them come out and enjoy the fun times with us. Last month we had 12 Camaros show up, which is a great turnout for the first meet, so let's try to get more. Members: Char1ieone |
