NoD, your's is in the next batch. Actually the Black with WHite HT & no name was ordered in the second order, but for some reason it shipped by itself the same day as my first/test order. It's the Viking (Carter?) dude's hat I'm 99% sure. Some one will speak up, since they're SICK!!! Your's is going to look killer, I matched it to the car seriously!

Yea I was just confirming that it wasn't mine cuz in your post you said you didnt know whos it was and mentioned my name. They seriously look badass. Thanks for taking the time to order these for us John.

I have a slighty used one in perfect condition I picked up for $300 bucks otherwise yes I'd be skipping it. I'm staying non aspirated so any additional horsepower i can pick up will be good, even if its 5 horses. The 102 intake will add a decent gain though when its matched to my ported and polished heads.

On another note, I went to a fairly new shop called Dialed In Performance today on PCH in Redondo Beach and met the owner, Johnny. He wants to get involved with the club as maybe the club shop/hangout, he's got a Mustang Dyno, primo location, plenty of parking, we were talking about having Dyno Days, Bikini Washes, you name it, he's down for it and has loads of LS engine experience and owns a modern, clean shop a couple blocks from the pier, bikinis and beach right on PCH. He's down for whatever we want to do!

The hats look great, can't wait to get mine. Thanks John.

I'd either do the interior stuff to finish up the appearance or get a cam, converter and dyno tune. The heads flow really well and it isn't worth the $$$ to port and polish them. While the cam is going in do the LS3 conversion and upgrade the pushrods, dual springs and lifters (I didn't do lifters and now I really wish I did, the ticking is getting old).

Unless you are going with a kick ass TT setup down the road, stay away from the FAST intake. It gets hotter then the factory intake so you actually loose power quicker after it heats up. On a cold motor you will only see 3-4 hp gains. Not worth the $$$ IMHO.

I keep going back and forth on the ported TB. I think a powder coated TB would look sweet though. If you are going to get one painted or powder coated, might has well make it flow better.

Just make sure if you get a cam, you know what your future plans are. I had a blower cam installed, then started looking at turbo kits.
I just bought a Maggie so now I don't have to pull my cam out.

I did my oil change and I empty the catch can. take a look at the oil the catch can had in it.
