Painting your Dash Trim and Door Panels?

I know that there have been a few threads about this, but I haven't really gotten the answer I am looking for from the other posts. I am wanting to paint my Dash trim and door panels IBM to match my exterior, and was wondering if anyone has done this? If so, how does it look? I have seen a ton of people do yellow, orange, even black and white but I haven't been able to find any IBM. Also, what is the BEST method in your opinion on doing this job? I have ABL door panels and just regular plastic dash trim, but I have seen some people paint it from underneath and some paint it from the top and then clear coat it. The most important thing to me is making it look as close to factory, and I want to make sure my ABL lighting is still visible. Any opinions or advice is appreciated!
