Adam's and zaino question
What's up fellas? I am a long time zaino user but am looking to try adams polishes. I love the long lasting affects of the zaino Z2 sealant but they don't offer a paint correction kit like adams. I just ordered the ADAM'S BASIC PORTER CABLE 7424 XP POLISHER KIT and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using adams polishes with the zaino Z2 sealant then the adams buttery wax.

I have no first-hand experience with Zaino, but I see no reason you couldn't polish with Adam's, then do an IPA wipe and apply your Zaino sealant. And if you wanted to top that with buttery, you could, but I'm not sure why.

Last year I did the Adam's polish then Z5/Z2 and it came out great. I did not put wax on top of that though.
This yeah I did Adam's polish, Adam's sealant, (could have stopped there) Adam's Glaze and Americana and it came out even better. I'm pretty much all-in with Adam's now. Nothing against Zaino, I think the all Adam's route is a little easier.

It all depends on how you upkeep what you correct. I've been using Adam's for a long while now. Their products are amazing and last quite awhile. But like I said, it's up to the user to upkeep what you have cleaned/corrected.

As a former Zaino-holic, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. What would be necessary, however, would be to wipe the paint down with diluted IPA to remove any polishing oils from any machine polish. Zaino is famously finicky for not bonding properly over any oil/wax residue. |
