Defective supercharger cooler brick...FYI..

We where wondering why we where loosing coolant in the supercharger coolant system.

Just putting it here for a FYI in case someone has the same issue as we've seen this before.....this is not meant to start panic attacks which are known to happen on forums.....LOL!

Meth' injection!!! Hey - you guys just did a feature with GMHTP - what's the problem

jk

That's a little scary. Is there a pump upgrade or anything on your car? I can't remember reading anything along those lines, and I'm not suggesting that could cause something like this, but that's pretty interesting...

Wasn't spraying a tiny bit of water the way to clean-out the combustion chambers back in the day?...

was that with the stock pump or did you upgrade the IC-pump? I remember reading about someone who installed a bigger meziere pump.
(The added pressure on all those components would be my biggest concern if i'd upgrade the pump...)

The obvious question, how are you planning to FIX the problem on your part?

Anyone on the Camaro Team made aware of your findings?

How do you check the supercharger coolant level? I know the valve is under the plastic cover on the front. When you open the valve on top is it simply supposed to be a "visual check"...??

Replaced it with another one....the side tanks are paper thin. Not enough to weld..
