Are there any dealerships in the Houston area, or somewhere in the general vicinity, that can add "performance" options so I can just roll it into the loan?

I'd like to get a 2SS and upgrade the gear ratio and maybe do the whole "headers and mod chip tune" thing done and possibly some cosmetic work.

Does anybody do this?

I've not heard of any dealers that do that type of work as it voids the warranty. That is a sticky situation for a dealer to be in.

No chip to mod. You get the ECU tuned and yes a lot of dealers will do that stuff but maybe someone will PM you. Why cause some dealer a problem with GM.

Don't know if this would be something you want but Hennessy isn't too far from Houston.

There used to be one... our club president ordered up a couple and had cam, tune and nice wheels put on, but he switched dealerships and no longer does. You might ask around but I haven't heard of any other.

In fact he even drove a dealer convertable to C5Fest II that had a perf. cam in it.

But they don't say anything about purchasing the car in one load.

I'm afraid to call these people because I'm not ready to do the deed yet.
