James.......................I'll try to get pictures posted "possibly" tomorrow of the Pacers Car Club Labor Day Car Show in Madrid, Iowa.

I took about 90 pictures of 1st gens, 2nd gens, 3rd gens, 4th gens and 5th gens.

HRD_WRK (Tim) also got a second place trophy and I have pictures of both him and Redmaro (Bob) with their trophy's.

Nancy and I too had a good time with everyone that James mentioned. The buddy of mine that he forgot was 99OrangeZ (Eric). Their were other Mid-Iowa Camaro Club members there too including Dave with his first gen, Howard with his 3rd gen, Jim with his 2nd gen and Larry and his wife just being there as spectators with no car shown.

For those whose schedule or family committments wouldn't allow their attendence, you missed a good show with lots of cool cars to look at and lots of pleasant conversation.

We had a good time at the show yesterday. Thanks to everyone welcoming us to your group. Congrats to all of those that won. Some really sharp cars there. I find it interesting how everyone does things just a little different. Each car really is unique.

Hey Dennis, Not sure what the school consists of besides the basics-starting, keeping between cones and thru gates and then stopping.
I anticipate some advice and practice going thru gates and cones and turns and the importance of being smooth thru out the run. I think it would be great for beginners.

I need more practice on smoothing out my corners I just need to ease in to my throttle instead of jumping on it. Sep 9 sounds great if not doing anything I will be there.

Had a great time at Madid Sun. Everyone left and some of the guys up on Main st. did some inprompto burnouts pretty cool. yeah should have cleaned under my body and wheel wells. I went to have fun and that we all did. that is the second actual points judgeing show and see what they are looking at I should have known the wheel wells they were oviouse. Today was the Holms Chevrolet MDA show. good show but before the show for a small donation Pancakes preped by the fire dept and pancakes, butter, suryp, milk, OJ, coffee by Farway so all money going to MDA and 50% of registration to MDA. Several Camaros there and only a small shower just before noon. till next weekend see you all out and about.

Had a GREAT time at the Iowa Falls Labor Day Car Show today with Dennis, Dwight & Jan, Sue & Jim, Dale, Gary, and even Ryan "Uncle Iowa Guy" who stopped by to say Hi after his overnight shift.

Grinch, you sure are missed at the shows!!! :(

It was a fun event. A judged show, just like Madrid yesterday. All 5th Gens were shut out in both Camaro classes today.

A 2013 Cobra took 2nd in the Mustang Class so one late model got some love at the show. What is it with all these Cobras winning everything? Is it sympathy because of the passing of Mr. Shelby this year?

The judges at least went to every car, went through them, scored them, and asked the owner(s) questions, even the late models. So the late models at least felt like we belonged.

I think there will be a class change for me cuz of my mods. Mike from SCCA Iowa Region thinks FSP, I think thats F prepared. I'll find out soon.
