Wayside (?) Kansas at 3:00pm today. It's not the
norm that the railcar sits that long, but it's happened
before. Hang in there, it's moving again and hopefully
will be in your hands soon.

There is no normal time for a railcar to sit. Trust me i work for them. LOL.

Like soo many others on camaro5, we are all grateful that you are here!!

Hard to imagine that they moved Scarett less than 500 miles in 9 days!! That's IF she gets out of Kansas today At this point, it would not surprise me if when they open her door to unload her, corn stalks fall out

Certainly someone, GM or rail company has to have an ETA to the unloading location (railyard) or to the dealership don't they?? If so, how can I find out what it is??

Hi Becky!

Hope you had a great weekend!

I have been tracking Blanche's train day and night and have had an absolute blast!!!!

She is just a few miles from Yuma, Arizona, where she will cross over into California. She should arrive into Mira Loma (her destination) tonight or in the morning.

Any idea how long it usually takes for them to be put on a truck and sent to the dealer?

I'm excited to finally meet her, but have to admit that I already miss you!

On the dealers invoice there in an Expiration of Intransit date
that is a GUIDE as to when the dealer might expect the vehicle.
However, it's only a guide - keep checking the railcar and
you'll have a real good idea of where it is. Hang in there -
it's sooooo worth the wait!!!

Once it gets to Mira Loma, it will take a day or so to unload
and then the goal is to have it loaded on a truck in 72 hours -

This is the 8th new vehicle we have ordered since the early 90's. 6 were special order. Neither my wife nor myself can remember ever being this excited and anxious for it to arrive!!! This is also the first time that any accessories have ever been purchased BEFORE the vehicle was already in the garage
