I just did the fuse pull about three weeks ago and did it again yesterday because I was noticing some power loss (300 miles). I put nothing but 91 oct premium in the tank. That's the highest I can find where I live. Is there something else we can dump in the tank to improve the octane level. Jet fuel or rocket fuel ?

Higgs, one more question, and I'll quit bugging you...lol....From your posts I have a better understanding of things...and put my mind at ease that this octane/map isn't completely evil...lol
But doing a layman's fuse-pull (from time to time)...do you really think that in itself could cause some engine damage, from being too high of timing or whatever...or is it something we can do periodically just for fun?...Thanks again, Tom |

Sorry about getting off topic. I'm just trying to see if there is a way to maintain the high octane table at its fullest without pulling the fuses so much, and without getting a tune.
