Maybe not for 4, but whenever NOLA Motorsports Park opens up, it should definately be in the running for a potential Fest site

I survived C5F3!!!
OH I know how to merge lol & dont mind driving, its also the fact that they dont have Flipping street signs where people can see them.

I missed FEST I snowed in at home in Michigan.

FEST II Pedders was the CamaroCross sponsor. Sounded like an easy deal, until the local SCCA club bailed on us the night before the event

FEST III Pedders was the CamaroCross sponsor. We thought we would get a head start with the local SCCA. They bailed in December. We bought C5 timing gear, cones and helmets to eliminate the variables of SCCA support location to location. Once again we were under the bus when we found our wireless timing eyes range was cut by a large crowd of spectators. That along with some other location related issues make the annual FEST a real challenge for us. We'll be wherever C5FEST IV doing the same thing and doing it better.

Were you at the last FEST?
Yes! Sorry for I enjoyed it and looking forward to the next! Met some very good people at the Fest. I didn't know what to expect at all to be honest but very happy I was able to make it and really looking forward to next years. I'll plan accordingly...

TEXAS SUCKS
I traveled to Washington a number of years ago, and found it somewhat challenging to navigate to places due to a lack of access roads... It seemed like you exited the highways right into the parking lots... I took a few days to figure it out but I didn't come to the conclusion that Washington sucked...

My brother lived up there for a few years and said the locals driving 70 on ice were nuts, we park our cars in snowy icy weather... obviously that can't be done in a state with that much snow and ice, but driving 70 in it, with 60-80 car pileups...

The people I went to visit and those I met through my friends and those I met along the way went out of their way to make me feel at home... and I still didn't feel that Washington SUCKED... It rained nearly every day I was there, and snowed at any altitude above sea level while I was there... it was cold, and the humidity bit to the bone, but it didn't suck...

Chuckanut Drive, Deception Pass, Mt Baker, etc... So much to see.... It didn't suck...

Quite the contrary, I've recommended it to others as a place to visit with lots to offer... Why... because of the people and the sights... The people were great, and the sights were amazing....

Texas I can promise would roll out the carpet for a Fest....

The H-Town club alone hosts a two day Texas Camaro Nationals every year... and it's a blast...

If it was decided to host a Fest in or around the Houston area... where the facilities are available, you better hold on to your hats... I can promise you the H-Town club core would run with it like you've never seen... They are can do people and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet...They wouldn't have to be asked, I know a bunch of them that would be asking... to do anything they can,

Currently, San Antonio doesn't have the facilities to host this with regards to the track area... I can't speak for any clubs in the DFW area, but I know of some amazing individuals that would throw in any way they could...

But no.... Sorry,

Texas does not Suck.... We just have one of the most crowded and also best rated highway systems in the country.... we can't help all the drivers, even we complain about a lot of them...

San Antonio really does need a motorsports park. You'd think with a population of over 1.3million there'd be a rich car guy or two willing to make the investment...

Better would be the open road race to El Paso and Back.... Roughly half way across the state, 600 miles each way...
