Trying to do 4 things at once..but hey..I will be there..umm what time IDK..still hammering that out with the family and job.

But want to make sure its a go with the organization to boot man for NeXuS to film up there...

and Dan is there a way to do a hot lap not pushing it or anything. But be a passenger with a camera kinda thing they do from time to time..just to show it in car what its like with commentary.

Dave, no problem filming outside, pits, near the track (in a safe location), etc. The Camera man just needs a spotter with him (and on Sept. 23rd, we will have plenty of people for that).

As far as riding in the car, how big is the camera that you would use? Can it be mounted to the rollcage?

If the camera isn't mounted, it could be dangerous.. you would never be able to hold it steady enough for a good shot, and it may become a weapon (especially with me driving... )

Might be easier with my mounted go pro camera's. I have 1 outside and 1 inside. The inside 1 is behind the two front seats and will capture your voice commentary.

The rule of thumb with the SCCA is that anyone riding in the car is a paid driver or instructor. We may be able to get around that as you would be promoting the (SCCA) club. Worst case, we register someone as a second driver and use those runs for additional video capture. A dual driver car gets twice as many runs around the course, as 2 people would be driving.

I am thinking about it. It helps the Patriots play at night that Sunday ! Count me as a yes at the moment.

I have a CAI so I believe that puts me into modified.

I should be able to borrow a helmet they have on hand correct?

Thanks, CT

OK... Registration is OPEN.

Everyone - Please register for THE SAME CLASS = SM (Street Modified).

This will allow us to ALL take lunch at the same time, be on the track at the same time, take breaks at the same time, etc.

We will divide into our own classes of Stock, Modified, Street Mod, etc. on our own.

Again, you want to register for the STREET MODIFIED class.

Here is the link to register: http://www.ner.org/solo/event/201209...points-event-9

I am now registered...

Painter's tape works well. The letters designate your class. The numbers you can pick as long as no one else in the class has them. If you want to make it simple with the tape, stick to the easy numbers...1, 11, 7, 77, 17, 71. Or you can take it up a few notches, and look like these bad boys:

Mr 600's car - no one's can look better than his

mine, with my Kevin Harvick style numbers

PAUL SS - he even has "sponsorships"!

But honestly, chevy 3's ROCKED!
