Thanks for the welcomes. How about the low down on the best dealership to work with in the area. I am entertaining the idea of buying a second Camaro SS and giving my current one to my son for his next birthday.

"Lots to do" All that I need is a shop to do all my tuning and a track to brake stuff at. I am extreamly excited to get to a state that has race tracks. Oahu, tore theirs down years ago and the only outlets that we really have is a coned off parking lot, stupid, and illegal street racing, dangerous and stupid. I dont count the various closed down air fields.

And we have a couple of road courses that are close: Carolina Motorsports Park (about 2 hrs away) and Roebling Road (Savannah, Ga)

Yeah. Go with Marchant to buy new. I don't really trust the others' sales teams, personally, while Marchant's is fairly knowledgeable and rather helpful. I say that only having talked to various salesmen at the other dealerships, though. I don't have any buying experience through the others.

No shortage of dealers in the Charleston area, Marchant, Hendrick, Crews, Dick Smith. I bought my ZL1 and 2011 Colorado from Dick Smith with good results, service has been good, but have only used them for oil changes. My Indy Pace car, 45th Anniversary SS and Avalanche came from Rick Hendrick. Very impressed with the service there. Lots of follow up after the sale. Service is very good, 2 recalls performed, replaced convertible boot and fixed scratch on the bumper cover. Only downfall for me is an hour drive to the shop. Bought from Crews when it was owned by someone else and everything was horrible there. Not sure if it's any better or not since I refuse to ever go there again. No experiences with Marchant

I looked at HHP but it seams like they do mostly Dodge. I will give them a call later today.
