I bought a used JL stealthbox which I have installed, I was wondering if it needs to be bolted in somehow?

Its a tight fit, but I did notice a screw/bolt hole so was wondering.

Yes ..it uses an L bracket that is slotted on one side and a couple of fender washers and two bolts that threads into the box if you look just above the stealthbox when it is placed into position and you will see the pre existing bracket that it ies in with. Call JL and I am sure they will help in telling you the material required. They may even send you the parts..
