Maybe the OP feels like I do about my 6banger...it gives me that little bit of rush I need every now and then when I pop the throttle...it's very practical for every day commuting, and has some power when I need it...I don't need 426hp for every day driving...I know for a fact in 2 years I won't have this car anymore, so why spend 30+k on an SS when all I do is commute with the occasional fun chicken run down the highway? I could easily afford an SS along with a ZL1, in which I'm heavily considering buying in a few years when the "newness" wears off them, for a cool weekend car...

I think those with an 8 should drive a 6...at least with a simple mod like mine (cai)...the difference that you actually feel in regular driving is not THAT much honestly. Even the sound at WOT for a 6 with a cai is more than I expected it to be...

Why not? SS owners can constantly rag on V6 owners and always have "freedom of speech", yet when V6 owners say they aren't impressed by the V8, it becomes one of the world's worst sins?

I have and I assure you, I notice. TQ difference is very noticeable between the LLT and the LS3.

Remind me if I ever drive another car again just to keep my mouth shut. I honestly didn't expect this to get so nasty. I gave my opinion on it, figured there were at least a few who agreed with me which there was and that would be it.

I like my 1LT/RS more than the 2SS i test drove, BFD, I didn't say I hated it, just that it didn't thrill me like I expected it to.

I did actually pose a legit question.

It's not your fault, dude. You have full right to speak your opinion. V6 owners have the same rights on this forum as V8 owners.

It's just that there's a lot of people that never matured in the General Discussion forum. One of the main reasons I try my best to stay out of it. I lose brain cells every time I come in.

No they don't actually. Camaro5 is a privately owned and operated forum - therefore no Freedom of Speech.

The Camaro5 rules also clearly state that we do not, and will not tolerate intermodel bashing. If you're not familiar with them I have linked them at the bottom. If you see a post about a V8 guy bashing a V6 report it and I, or one of the other Mods, will handle it.

Someone earlier in the thread touched on it, except for the interior upgrades with a 2SS compared to my 1LT/RS and of course the engine I felt like I was driving my car which thinking back on it probably didn't help things. My wife said this is your car with leather, HUD, the guage pack and the bigger engine.
