Speaking of IPS, I talked to them the other day and asked about rear end gears. I wanted to drop off the differential and have them install 4.11 or 3.91 gears. They said they have a outside vendor do it. So anyone know a good spot in Northeast Ohio that does gears? Or a place that does a swap or core charge that is highly recommended somewhere in the Northeast US?

Still trying to decide wether to do a Cam or gears next. I heard that the GM 3.91 gears can be had pretty cheap, any suggestions?

Not sure about the borla costs, but the tune is a little high, maybe $50 to $100.
Normally a shop cuts you a break if they are doing that much work on your car.

The tune should never be an all day thing unless there were problems. I have never seen a tune take all day, may a couple hours tops.... unless you are putting parts on a car that do not work well with one another.

Some people listen to others and put "X" cam in because it is the "best" then use this size headers because their friend used them, then use these "whatever" because they were cheaper.... know what I mean?

I was wondering if any can help me out??? I went to the Summit Camaro show this past weekend with my fiance. We checked into the Holiday Inn in Kent Ohio on Frday night after going through a horrible storm with hail and hard rain. We got a whirlpool room so we could relax. As I was getting out of the whirlpool I slipped and fell and hurt my back. Saturday morning I work up to more rain and my back was killing me. I figured what the hell I will go get registered. I pull up and my car was filthy from the rain. At this point I was petty pissed because I drove from Pittsburgh drove through a hail storm messed my back up and now my car is dirty and I can't even clean it because my back is hurting so bad. I let them look at my car as I sat on one of the chairs. The guys were very nice and I could tell they felt bad for me. I left right after they were done because again my back was killing me. I got up Sunday and checked out of the Hotel and decided to stop back down to Summit to see what was going on. We get there looked at a bunch of really nice Camaros and had to leave again because og my back. I was just wondering if anyone would be able to see if my car placed at all. My car was #77. If someone knows how to check I would really appreciate it. Please PM me if you can.. OOOh I did talk to the Ohio Camaro club president in the Holiday Inn parking lot on Saturday night and he seemed to be a nice guy. He even ask if there was anything he could do to help ..

Sorry to hear of your back & hope you feel better soon! I'm a member of that club & if you placed in the show, they'll contact you & make arrangements to get your award. If you would like your judging sheet/score, send a SASE to our po box (found in the program) & they'll mail it to you. Hope that helps!!

Have to agree with Drew on this one. Appears to be about right. As for the Borla pricing, I know those are decent prices for that exhaust!

Alright, done a ton of research, I am looking at Texas Speed headers and exhaust or Stainless Works headers and exhaust. Thoughts/opinions?

I think that's what I will go with. Texas Speed wants $250 just for shipping lol. SW would be free bc there is a dealer right down the street.

Just scored a set of 1LT wheels, tires, & tpms locally. They were new take-offs. My original tires are going to need to be replaced before winter and I was wanting the 10lb/each lighter wheels. Didn't come with the lug nuts, so I still have to pick them up.

Guess it's time to use up the rest of the tread on the old tires.

Bye bye steelies!

I actually like those wheels. There design is very similar to the IROC wheels from the 80s.

I do too, although I do like black wheels rather than silver wheels on IOM. But they still look good and the 1/3 less weight is great.

Saw the pics on FB. Very exciting! I will likely get a nice tax return next year from buying the hizzouse so some new wheels may be in my future too. I hate the steelies!!

I don't mean to turn this into spam, but I thought it would be easiest to mention this to the Ohio folks.

I bought a new 3" Borla S-type catback exhaust this spring and it was on my car for about a month and has a about 10 miles on it. I has mufflers and polished tips. I paid $1500 for it. IPS took it off my car last week and I need to sell it.

If anyone wants it for $1000 and you pick it up at IPS, let me know.
