Hmm, alright, ya I have Amber Footwells and Dome so not sure if red would go right, but I ordered the Black Insert I linked and I ordered a pair of Orange and Red lights you linked.

Ill post pics when I get the stuff in!

You know, if you put an adhesive foam around the cup holder aftermarket plate, it will prevent the light from reflecting on the cup holder's wall, between the wall and the plate, and only keep the light inside. Just a thought.

The only issue I see with this plate is its really tight now to get into the arm rest compartment.

Good idea.
Do you think maybe double sided tape would work also. Just run it along the edge of the plate

I used double sided Velcro tape . Sticky on one side Velcro on the other. Velcro tape on mine.It works perfectly if you want to remove the plate yet holds it in place.Works like a charm.

Now I hooked mine up to the same things that I hooked up my footwells to and I noticed my cupholder light isn't as bright as others. I have 2 of the amber LEDs and they are connected to the yellow wire under the 4-guage along with my footwells. Should I connect them to somewhere else? If so does anyone have any ideas.

When I put mine in I forgot that they were attached to the dimmer on my lights. Check to see if your dimmer switch for your dash lights is turned all the was up.
