You are correct on one thing, the 'bad' survey will only make you feel better. If the dealer is huge/high volume dealer one bad survey will amount to a hand slap, if anything. Beezwax said it could affect the dealer and he is correct, but if they're pushing 200+ units a month, that bad survey won't mean a thing.

Yes.. you should've got it in writing.

Damn just when we're trying to save you money because of your situation in the other thread these aholes screw you! I'm sorry to hear that kid, I'd have them make up those 2k elsewhere ie parts like gears or 1Le shit in writing or tell them your giving that survey a BAD review. If they don't want to square away then definitely and without a doubt write that bad review. I hate salesman/woman they will con their own mother!

A negative survey can have serious financial repercussions on the selling dealer, and serious employment repurcussions for the employees that handled your car deal I work at a Chevrolet dealership, and these surveys are taken VERY seriously. As to how to fill it out(if you receive one), thats up to you. Filling it out negatively will definitely not get you free stuff.

I hate this pressure over the survey crap. In fact I have better things to do with my time and throw almost all surveys in the trash.
I feel the same way.
If I have a problem, I'll let them know.
If it doesn't get solved, I'll let them know more.

Right on, change his address in the system, survey gets mailed to 'someone else', then address gets corrected.....
Not that I've ever done that.... just saying.......

it's amazing that buyers sometimes have no regards for these surveys or the dealership they buy from... all they expect is a great deal and then tell the dealership to GFY.

Like i said, I'm a sales manager for a houston area chevy dealership and i stress the importance to each and every guest i talk to about the survey and what it means to us.

Just like anyother place, my sales people work for a living... they have families, children, homes, cars, hobbies just like anyone else... these Surveys mean a lot to my people's pay and job. I really wish that while we bend over backwards to make a deal, our guests would show the same courtosy with a simple survey.

Hey Beez, after we bought the car, got the survey on-line and I filled it out. I ran up to the dealer about 30 minutes after that, to get some stuff from service. The GM saw me pull up and came to thank me for the survey, it got to him that quick.
