I originally bought a 2011 1LT/RS due to its great fuel economy for a 300+ HP car and overall practicality over the SS.

I found a barely used 2011 2SS/RS and threw practicality out the window to feed the "MOAR POWER!" bug and because I wanted the SS to begin with!

I love my SS!

2011 LS, daily driver. Just over 2 years old from picking it up, 80,000 miles.
If they would have offered a power window delete, ac delete, power lock delete, etc would have bought that one!
( I have other Camaros at home to play with!!)

I actually made an offer on a 2012 2LT/RS first. I wanted that one because it was over 300HP, it was pretty, and I giggled the entire test drive, but the dealership wouldn't budge more than $300 under MSRP.

So I went to the local Dodge dealership and bought the cheaper, pre-loved SS.
I say aslong as your happy with it screw what any one thinks of it.

What will you do when it hits 100k? Throw a party! Long live the Camaro.

Sometimes, Renegade, your questions make me think you secretly work for GM.

It was simple as this: I liked the V8 better than the V6, and I liked the stick over the automatic. I've owned plenty of Camaros previously, some were V6's some were LS1's, some were stick, and some were automatic. I'm fairly certain nobody can say "you just don't know what you're missing" --because I've already been there

I actually took more than a year since I first test drove a Gen 5 Camaro to pick out and pinpoint the options my car has. This is my first brand new Camaro...all the others were used, so I was going to get exactly what I wanted, when the time was right. It was also my first SS. If I was going to drop anywhere near $30k on a car, i was going out BIG, and I have absolutely zero regrets.

Well, it replaced my van as a daily driver that has 275,000 on it. Maybe when it hits 300k miles I will give it a few mods!
Estimate for hitting 300k is somewhere around March 2017??

The reason I picked 2012 2LT/RS was because of the LFX and the A6. I would have never gotten the Mustang or Challenger as a V6, they are week Camaro is strong (sorry for a moment I was channeling Mister Worf) the only credible V6 is the LFX.

No, it's not. Why alienate a sector of the market? The product must appeal to as many potential customers as possible.........

I have a 2012 1SS with no options, it's weird. I wanted the lightest SS I could get.

Got it two months ago, don't drive it much it's just a fair weather toy, have plans for it, you know.
