With all the gravel repaving they are doing on the Olympic Peninsula right now I literally drive about 30 miles of freshly tar-ed and graveled roads everyday. I plasti-dipped my side skirts and have the stealth flaps which do help, but my paint still gets abused on a daily basis. No choice but to touch up the nicks with touch-up paint. I actually had a half inch rock get lodged in my upper grill.

I live two miles down a gravel road. I never drive any faster than 20mph. Usually between 10 and 15. I used to do about 8mph, but it's a long drive and I lack patience. But no matter how slow I drive I still have rock chips. Just the nature of the beast. You may want to consider a clear bra along your side skirts and on gills and behind rear tires. I also wash my car pretty much every day. And my porter-cable polisher with some adams stuff does wonders with the tiny white specks all over my side skirts.
Edited to add: Splash Guards didn't help much.

I've got a 1 mile gravel driveway. My gills are torn up from rock chips. Oh well, it's my daily driver.
I wish I had gotten a clear bra, but it's too late now.

Spray road with dust control solutiion if it is your private drive or see if your other neighbors would be willing do go in on this. Big difference in how much dust is aquired inside the car.

I have to park in a 20 acre gravel lot 6 nights a week. People coming and going all night gets pretty dusty. I washed it this morning and it's raining now so dust won't be issue for a day or two. Plenty of chips in paint just from highway driving. Over 55K miles now too.
